Gabriel Velazquez

Founder & Lead Instructor

I built and led the global technical enablement program for Claude at AWS — training thousands of solutions architects, growing an internal community of over 6,000 cloud professionals, and helping scale one of the fastest-growing AI platforms in the world. I've worked hands-on with Claude since its earliest days.

As Anthropic's first dedicated Solutions Architect at AWS, I stood up a global technical field community of hundreds of Claude practitioners across every major region — North America, EMEA, APJ, ASEAN, and LATAM. I scaffolded the initial enablement programs and helped teams across the world build production workloads with Claude.

Before Anthropic, I spent nearly two decades in enterprise technology — from launching Canada's first 4G LTE core at TELUS, to managing global partnerships at Apple, to architecting cloud solutions for regulated financial institutions at AWS.

I teach from both a technical lens and a go-to-market lens. I know how production architectures get designed, and I know how adoption strategies get approved. That dual perspective is what makes this training different.

Our approach

Deep roots, independent voice

Teaching Ants is an independent training company. We're not an Anthropic affiliate or partner program. What we bring is years of hands-on collaboration with the Anthropic team, deep relationships forged through launching products together, and a commitment to keeping our curriculum at the frontier — not trailing it by a quarter.

Building a team of practitioners

I'm the face of Teaching Ants today, but this is growing beyond one person. We're assembling a team of practitioners — people who build with Claude in production, not people who read about it. Every instructor will meet the same standard: real-world depth, not textbook knowledge.
